Josephine & Strawberry

| This is one of the most
picturesque, diverse, and psychologically challenging rides in southern
California. It is also among the most unforgiving, torturous, and dangerous
rides you will ever encounter. If you try to appreciate the scenery
while riding, you are likely to end up shopping for wheelchairs or being
the dead guy at the next funeral you attend. However, if you approach this trail
with the respect and planning that it demands, you will be rewarded with
an experience that very few people in southern California get to enjoy.
Few
bikers ride this trail with any regularity - it's just too demanding and extraordinarily
dangerous. If you are serious about experiencing everything that southern
California mountain biking has to offer, though, it is hard to leave this ride off
