| The Westridge / Sullivan Canyon
loop is almost certainly the most heavily traveled mountain biking trail
in the Santa Monica Mountains. It's almost impossible to be alone on
this route, which is comforting to some bikers and anathema to others.
This is the perfect introduction to mountain biking in the eastern Santa
Monica Mountains. It is easily accessed, aerobically sufficient,
visually satisfying, historically enlightening ( given the retired NIKE
missile site at the top of Westridge ), and just plain essential to a
